UofL Depression Center offers program on ‘Getting a Good Night’s Sleep’

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. – “Getting a Good Night’s Sleep” will be the topic of the January “Building Hope” public lecture offered by the Depression Center of the University of Louisville Health Sciences Center.

    Dr. Ryan Wetzler, director of behavioral sleep medicine with Sleep Medicine Specialists of Louisville, will present the free lecture at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 11, at Second Presbyterian Church, 3701 Old Brownsboro Road.

    Wetzler will discuss the importance and function of sleep, ways to recognize the symptoms of the most common sleep disorders and simple strategies to improve the quality of sleep.

    The “Building Hope” public lecture series offers free lectures on a variety of mental health and wellness topics and is sponsored by the UofL Depression Center, Kentuckiana’s leading resource for the treatment of depression and bipolar disorder, research and education.
