UofL commencement ceremony set for May 8

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. – More than 2,000 students are expected to participate in the University of Louisville’s main commencement ceremony May 8 at 1 p.m. in Freedom Hall at the Kentucky Exposition Center. UofL will award about 2,800 degrees this semester.

    University President James Ramsey will deliver the main commencement address, and Trustees Award winner Mary Hums, associate professor with the Department of Health and Sport Sciences, will also speak to the graduates. This year’s student speaker will be Caleb Bastian, a graduate of UofL’s School of Dentistry who also earned masterI’s degrees in business administration, oral biology and anatomical science and neurobiology.
