UofL Appoints Kosair Charities Chair in Pediatric Heart Surgery Research

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. –Bradley B. Keller, M.D., has joined the University of Louisville Division of Pediatric Cardiology as the Kosair Charities Chair in Pediatric Heart Surgery Research and director of pediatric cardiovascular research in the Cardiovascular Innovation Institute (CII).

    Keller is widely recognized for his research into the development of three-dimensional tissues for heart repair and regeneration. He also is interested in using telemedicine and computer technology for screening, monitoring and treatment of children in remote locations–which mayultimately result in beneficial advances for children in rural parts of Kentucky. He is the U.S. Medical Director for Touching Hearts in Tibet, a survey and treatment program for children in Tibet, operated by South East Asia Prayer Center. Keller is an active clinician locally as well,providing general pediatric cardiology services to patients with congenital heart disease.
