Lifelong learning classes offer chance to grow

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Does the prospect of using Twitter give you the jitters?

    No problem. You can find out how to master the latest form of electronic social networking by taking a Lifelong Learning personal enrichment class through the University of Louisville’s Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning this fall.

    The center will offer 59 classes between Sept. 14 and Dec. 11 on a wide variety of topics that range from learning how to invest money to understanding your dreams. This season there are 24 new classes, including eight on web technologies such as Xtreme Google, web site creation and web marketing, said Anita Block of the Delphi Center.

    “We try to give people a chance to pursue new interests and enjoy themselves at the same time,” Block said.
