About 600 U.S. colleges and universities, including private, public, for-profit, not-for-profit, four-year and two-year colleges, appear in the guide, Military Advanced Education’s 2015 Guide to Colleges & Universities.
UofL did a good job at maintaining a military culture, awarding financial aid and providing overall support for its 1,077 military and veteran students and dependents in 2013-14, the guide says, citing the university’s career assistance workshops, discounted child care and operation of a veterans’ lounge.
