This closure will allow for construction of the entrance to the Speed School parking lot as part of the Eastern Parkway improvement project.
The roadway will be closed beginning 6 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 25, and work will continue through 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30. There will be no access to the Speed School or any of the parking lots from Eastern Parkway.
Access will be from Warnock Avenue to South Brook.
These dates coincide with UofL’s Thanksgiving break. The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
Eastern Parkway is scheduled to reopen before Monday, Nov. 30, classes.
