University of Louisville’s Hite Art Institute offers the annual party that will run from 3 p.m. to midnight Saturday, April 20, at the Cressman Center for Visual Arts, 100 E. Main St. The gathering benefits the university’s fine arts programs.

Visitors can watch students work in the center’s glass “hot shop” and enjoy family movies and other activities throughout the evening. Light refreshments will be included. Tables and seating will be available as visitors come and go to the Kentucky Derby Festival’s fireworks and air show on the waterfront. The top floor of the attached parking garage offers a vantage point for watching the show.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for children 5–12; children aged 4 and younger are free. A garage parking pass is $25. Space is limited so reservations are required.

For more information or to reserve a spot, call Linda Rowley at 502-852-8403.
