    1.) Cards Under the Stars: Big Hero 6

    June 26, 6:30 p.m., on the lawn between the Natural Sciences Building and Grawemeyer Hall, movie begins at dusk

    Free admission

    Grab a blanket, lawn chairs and a cooler and bring the family for a screening of the film “Big Hero 6.” Let the kids enjoy our inflatable park, play games, “Big Hero 6” photo area and other activities. Bring a picnic or purchase concessions from Sweet ‘N’ Savory  and POLLO food trucks.  And don’t forget, Cards Under the Stars returns July 24 with the 2015 live-action film “Cinderella.”

    3.) Volunteers needed for Welcome Week 2015

    First Year Initiatives and campus partners will welcome new and returning students to campus with Welcome Week 2015, Aug. 19-23. It’s a team effort to make these events the best they can be and we need your help! If you’re interested in volunteering, please fill out the form. The form includes details (where and when, length of shift, specific volunteer duties, etc.) For additional information contact Shelley Tewell at 852-3125.

     

    4.) Evaluation and Management of the Patients with Brain and Spinal Metastasis

    July 10, 7:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Clinical and Translational Research Building, 505 South Hancock Street

    Free

    This one-day CME course will present a multidisciplinary approach needed for the care and treatment of patients with CNS Metastasis. The event will host 10 speakers providing lectures related to their specialties. MDs and DOs will receive 4.5 CME credits and RNs will receive 5.4 CEU credits.
