    DID YOU KNOW?

It’s Atlantic Coast Conference day at UofL!

There are several different ways to join in the fun as we celebrate this historic event. There’s the free luncheon for faculty and staff at 11:30 a.m. at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium’s Brown & Williamson Club. Later, there will be an ACC party at Fourth Street Live! immediately following the 4 p.m. U.S. vs. Belgium World Cup soccer match. And check out our updated UofLNow.com website and a fresh, new site, featuring a video narrated by Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence: meetthecards.com

    Campus-Submitted Announcements

    Miscellaneous

    1.) 3rd Street traffic alert

One lane in each direction will be closed Wednesday and Thursday so workers can perform routine maintenance on the pavers in front of the Oval. Access to the Oval will remain open, with one side closing at a time.

2.) Green Tip: Now is the time to review UofL’s green purchasing policy

Your purchasing decisions are key to helping UofL reduce our environmental impact and save money! With the start of a new fiscal year, please take a moment to review UofL’s Green Purchasing Policy for helpful guidance on everything from efficient Energy Star equipment to nontoxic Green Seal cleaning products to Forest Stewardship Council-certified paper products. And remember: The greenest products are the ones you don’t buy! (See UofL Surplus.) Reducing waste and consumption is our top priority.
