DID YOU KNOW Two Speech-Language Pathology graduate students in the Department of Otolaryngology received awards at 2017 American Speech-Language-Hearing Association convention in Los Angeles. Alexandra Birmingham received the 2017 National NSSLHA Member Honors Excellence Award and Bradley Kimbel was awarded the 2017 Graduate Student Scholarship from ASHA Foundation.
Faculty and staff notables Susan Peters, CEHD associate professor in the Department of Middle and Secondary Education, was selected as one of the 2016 outstanding reviewers for the “Journal of Research in Mathematics Education.” Additionally, she has been invited to serve as an associate editor on the editorial board of the “Statistics Education Research Journal,” a top research journal in statistics education.

Use the sun for free heat – open the curtains or shades on your south-facing and west-facing windows during winter days to bring free heat into your home. Close your window coverings when the sun goes down to keep the heat inside.
