    DID YOU KNOW?

Composting is in. Plastic is out. Starting this month, if you use a UofL ProCard to buy disposable dishes, cups and utensils for campus events, you’ll need to order biodegradable ones, according to a new purchasing rule. The university’s Sustainability Council hopes the practice trims the amount of solid waste generated on campus. For more details on UofL’s efforts to “buy green,” see http://louisville.edu/purchasing/sustainability/greenpolicy.html
