IdeaFestival, Louisville’s annual gathering of thinkers, is Sept. 27-28 at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts. UofL’s Nat Irvin II, Strickler Executive-in-Residence and professor of management in the College of Business, is once again organizing Thrivals, which will be held Sept. 26 and is geared toward high school students. Irvin coined the term “thrivals” to describe a new demographic of forward-thinking African-American youth with a global viewpoint.
