Here’s what was posted to UofL Today on May 4, 2015:

    ·       VIDEO: Nearly 3,000 UofL students graduate this weekend. Here’s the story of Awab Habib, a graduate who is “Going Pro” in sports marketing for Madison Square Garden in New York City. Watch this first installment of our new “Going Pro” series here.

    ·       VIDEO, PHOTOS: Cancer survivors celebrated “under the big top” last week at the 16th annual Cancer Survivors Celebration, which featured circus entertainment. Traditionally held on the Thursday before the Kentucky Derby, the event was sponsored by the Kentucky Cancer Program at UofL (KCP) and UofL’s James Graham Brown Cancer Center, a part of KentuckyOne Health. Watch here. View photos here.

    ·       PHOTOS: Latin American and Latino Studies students and faculty planted a Tranquility Garden on the west side of Stevenson Hall on Monday. The goal of this space is to allow students, faculty and staff a beautiful place to sit down, have lunch, conduct meetings or simply study. One of the wonderful elements of the garden is how it “grew” from donations from UofL faculty and staff and members of the local community. Many of the beautiful plants that will be making their spring debut are donations from the gardens of Rhonda Buchanan, Richard Tabb and Kevin D. Kouba. View here.

    ·       Nearly 3,000 students are expected to graduate this semester, and 1,800 will take part in Sunday’s commencement at the KFC Yum! Center. Read more.

    ·       Psychiatrist recognized for work on worldview in clinical psychiatry. Read more.
