LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville African American Theatre Program (AATP) has postponed a planned exchange program with the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts.
The AATP, a program of UofL’s Department of Theatre Arts, will still present an original adaptation of the classic Chinese opera, “The Orphan of Chao,” but has postponed the November premiere. The revised dates for the play will be Feb. 2-5 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 6 at 3 p.m. All performances will be at the Thrust Theatre, 2314 S. Floyd St.
