UofL scholars earn prominent scholarships for research, international study

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Eight University of Louisville students and one recent graduate have earned scholarships to conduct research, travel abroad and, in some cases, study foreign languages and cultures that are considered critical to U.S. national security.

    Cindy Hess has more than 30 years of experience in communications, marketing and investor relations, including more than a decade at UofL. She is "sort of" retired but happy to come back to the Office of Communications and Marketing to help with special projects and assignments.
