UofL announces two more Fulbright winners

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. –The University of Louisville today announced that two more graduates have won prestigious Fulbright awards, bringing the total number of 2010 student winners to 14.

    In May the university released information on 12 winners—a record number that placed the university among the top Fulbright–producing institutions in the nation.

    Most of UofL’s 2010 Fulbright winners are recent graduates who will teach or conduct research. They will travel to their respective overseas destinations this summer and stay for about a year. Destinations include Thailand, Germany, Peru, Argentina, Sri Lanka, Ecuador and more.

    Cindy Hess has more than 30 years of experience in communications, marketing and investor relations, including more than a decade at UofL. She is "sort of" retired but happy to come back to the Office of Communications and Marketing to help with special projects and assignments.
