LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville students are setting up a fund to help the victims of this week’s terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, D.C., and their families.

U of L’s Student Government Association has set up the SGA Victim Relief Fund. Donations will be accepted at four locations, including three sites on Belknap Campus:

    • SGA office, Room W301, Student Activities Center
    • North Information Center, off Cardinal Boulevard near the School of Music
    • Classroom Teachers Federal Credit Union in the Student Activities Center food court.

A donation site also will be set up at the Health Sciences Center. That location has not been determined.

The credit union site will take cash donations; the others will take checks only. Checks should be made payable to: SGA Victim Relief Fund.

“At a time like this, we all need to pitch in to help those in need,” said Carlton Brown, Student Government Association president. “We hope this fund will in some small way help the victims and their families through this trying time.”
