LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville has formally launched its first virtual campus tour website.

The new site offers a comprehensive virtual walking tour of UofL’s Belknap campus, as well as a quick overview of the Health Sciences Center and the university’s athletics facilities. It even features virtual student ambassadors.

The site was created in partnership with YouVisit, a New York-based company that creates tours for institutions and businesses around the world. It is viewable from multiple platforms, including mobile devices, Facebook and web browsers.

“Our hope is that these new virtual campus tours will allow us to better showcase UofL’s campuses to prospective students who may not have the ability or means to visit campus and take an in-person tour,” said Shirley Willihnganz, executive vice president and provost. “These tours allow us to showcase our beautiful campus and highlight our accomplishments.”

The tour is available to view at louisville.edu/about/campus-virtual-tour.
