Retired BB&T chairman and CEO to speak at UofL

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. – John Allison, retired chairman and CEO of BB&T Corporation and Executive in Residence at the Wake Forest University School of Business, will visit the University of Louisville Jan. 25 for a public talk.

     At 4:30 p.m., Allison will discuss “The Philosophic Fight for the Future of America,” examining classic liberalism versus statism. The event will take place in the PNC Horn Auditorium, Harry Frazier Hall, College of Business, and is part of the BB&T Speaker Series.
