Researcher to address history, biology of cancer Saturday

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A cancer researcher who studies both lung cancer and leukemia will speak and take questions on the disease Saturday (July 19) in Spencer County.

    Levi J. Beverly, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the University of Louisville Department of Medicine and a researcher with the James Graham Brown Cancer Center.

    Beverly will discuss the “History of Cancer Biology and Cancer Research” at 10:30 a.m. at the Spencer County Public Library, 168 Taylorsville Rd. in Taylorsville.
