LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium at the University of Louisville will offer a free, public tour of the universe Feb. 12 hosted by local personality Terry Meiners.

Planetarium director Rachel Connolly said the show, “Terry Meiners’ Star Tour,” is a special version of an ongoing program, “Skies Over Louisville.” Meiners made the show fun and entertaining by ad-libbing and infusing plenty of humor, she said.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and show begins at 7:30 p.m. Meiners will co-host the event with Connolly. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Those wishing to stay for the 8 p.m. show, “Oasis in Space,” can see it for free (regularly $7 adults, $5 for children 12 and under).

Planetarium administrators plan to feature other local personalities in future versions of “Skies Over Louisville.”
