LOUISVILLE, Ky. – It’s time for your “inner actor” to make an appearance.
The University of Louisville Belknap Theater will have auditions Dec. 3 and 4 for its three spring productions. Roles are available for 20 actors ranging from teens to senior citizens.
Auditions will run from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Thrust Theater of the Studio Arts Building at Floyd and Warnock streets. The auditions will be cold readings from scripts.
The roles are for three 2002 productions:
- “Stop Kiss,” a Diana Son play about miscommunication and fear of gay bashing, Thrust Theater, Feb. 26-March 2.
- “Trane: Beyond the Blues,” an African-American Theater Program production of the Christine Rusch play about jazz saxophonist John Coltrane, Thrust Theater, March 6-10.
- “The Importance of Being Earnest,” an Oscar Wilde play updated for modern audiences, Thrust Theater, April 16-21.
