LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville-area entrepreneurs can learn how to launch their product or business through an upcoming training program offered by Nucleus: Kentucky’s Innovation Center. The program, called LaunchIt, is an intensive 10 week course that starts Sept. 3.

“This course will give start-up owners the tools to successfully launch their business while avoiding the pitfalls others have discovered,” said Nucleus CEO Vickie Yates Brown.

This is the sixth entrepreneur training program offered by Nucleus, an arm of the University of Louisville Foundation. More information can be found at http://nucleusky.com/nucleus-launchit-program or at a free “Lunch and Learn” session Aug. 8 at Nucleus TechCenter, 201 E. Jefferson St. Lunch will be provided while coaches and graduates of previous training programs will answer questions. Those interested in attending the session should email Mary Tapolsky at mtapolsky@nucleusky.com.

Entrepreneurs selected by XLerate Health, the Vogt Awards and VetStart are among those already selected for the LaunchIt program. Applications for others will be accepted through Aug 23. Space is limited.
