LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The College of Business will continue its support of Portland Elementary School students by hosting Family Night on March 30.

COB Masters of Business Administration students have organized the event to provide dinner, free family photos, and “get healthy” activities for the children. Three informational sessions will also be offered to provide assistance to parents.

Portland Elementary was adopted in 2015 by the College of Business in a program called the Elevate Portland Initiative. The West Louisville elementary school is part of UofL’s Signature Partnership Initiative.

The COB has partnered with the COB MBA Finance Club, the Legal Aid Society of Louisville, the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority and Break the Mold Crossfit to help with the event.

Activities begin at 5:30 p.m. For more information, contact UofL professor Beth Davis-Sramek, 502-852-3472.
