LOUISVILLE, Ky. – For one-stop shopping for one-of-a-kind treasures, the one-day University of Louisville holiday pottery sale is the place to be Friday, Dec. 7.
Students enrolled in ceramics classes will sell their creations from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Room 136 of the Studio Arts/Health Promotion, Physical Education and Sports Studies Building at the corner of Floyd and Warnock streets.
Parking will be available next to the building in the green lot fronting Floyd Street.
Handcrafted items for sale will include teapots, pitchers, vases, plates, mugs and bowls. Prices will range from $3 to more than $100 for the clay pieces.
A portion of the sales will go to the U of L Hite Art Institute’s Ceramic Art Organization. The group will use the money to help bring nationally recognized visiting artists to U of L and to enable students to travel to national conferences.
