“The Power of U” television commercial by University of Louisville Hospital was honored recently with two Telly Awards.

The Telly Awards annually showcase the best work created within television and across video for all screens. Receiving more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents, Telly Award winners represent work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies and publishers from around the world.

The Telly Awards are judged by members of the Telly Awards Judging Council, a group of more than 200-plus working industry professionals who have previously won the Telly Awards’ highest accolades and as such, have demonstrable expertise in the categories they review.

This year, the Power of U television commercials featuring UofL Hospital, UofL Brown Cancer Center and UofL Physicians received gold and silver awards:

“This recognition demonstrates the outstanding work of the UofL Health Marketing and Communications team and our advertising agency, INgrid Design,” said Diane Partridge, senior vice president of Marketing and Communications.

The Telly Awards were founded in 1979 to honor excellence in local, regional and cable television commercials with non-broadcast video and television programming.
