Jamie Tworkowski, founder of the organization To Write Love on Her Arms will speak at the University of Louisville Oct. 28.

Tworkowski founded To Write Love on Her Arms in 2006. The nonprofit group helps those who suffer from depression, addiction, self-injury, or suicidal tendencies to find hope, treatment and recovery. Tworkowski is the author of the 2015 book “If You Feel Too Much.”  He’s been interviewed by NBC Nightly News, CNN, MTV and Spin Magazine.

The free, public talk, sponsored by the Engage Lead Serve Board begins at 7 p.m. in the Swain Student Activities Center Multipurpose room. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. for students and 6:45 p.m. for the public.
