The area will be closed to allow for demolition of the old baseball field house and construction of a new, larger student parking lot.

Some blue parking spaces near the fieldhouse and the access road also will be eliminated. A few red spaces are being relocated.

Student parking will continue to be available in the Brook Street green lot southeast of the construction zone, along the Patrick Henry Hughes Field, and in the green lot off Third Street just south of Speed, across from the Reynolds Lofts condominiums.

The new parking area is scheduled to be completed before the start of the fall semester.
