The team has been working in UofL’s fresh tissue dissection laboratory and other facilities through the Department of Anatomical Sciences and Neurobiology, and under the direction of Fred Roisen and Robert Acland.

This training is invaluable to our team, said Capt. Charles Asher. We are able to conduct some of our training using plastic models but that is just not the same. There are some procedures where you really need to be able to feel how they should take place.
