    Free; bus tour: $15
    Want to catch a glimpse of our renewable energy future at work on area homes and buildings? Come learn how solar power is a practical alternative available to all of us today. UofL’s Conn Center for Renewable Energy Research is hosting one of dozens of tour sites along with UofL employees and students who live in solar-powered homes. We’ll open our doors to you throughout the day. Stop in at a wide variety of solar-powered buildings on your own or as part of a group bus tour or bike tour.

    Breakfast to benefit the Norma Lewis Scholarships in ASL Translating and Disability Services at UofL. $6 covers an all-you-can-eat breakfast: homemade eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, pastry, fruit and more.

    Today, please join us for a pediatric grand rounds featuring Regina Jakacki, MD. Jakacki is professor of pediatrics and director of the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Program at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She will present “Treatment of Childhood Brain Tumors: Trying to Regain Control Without Losing More in the Process.” We hope to see you there.

    5.) Clothing Exchange Project for Children
    Sept. 30 – Oct. 31 UofL Women’s Center
    The UofL Women’s Center is collecting new or gently used infant and children’s clothing (including shoes, toys, new bags of disposable diapers). This project is sponsored by the Women’s Center Student-Parent Association/Moms Support Group. There will also be a special collection of items for women veterans who are homeless. (For a list of items, email Phyllis M. Webb.)
