If a printed copy is desired, contact the ULPD at 502-852-6111.

    ·        An astronomer on the team developing the scientific successor to the Hubble Space Telescope will talk about the complex project and what it may yield during an Oct. 16 lecture. Read story.

    DID YOU KNOW?

Hilda Threlkeld, who retired from UofL in 1956 after a 25-year career as dean of women and professor of education, once said she wanted to give every young person a sense of permanent life values, and she emphasized training in the art of social living as well as academic development. It was fitting, then, that in 1962 a dormitory was named in her honor. Threlkeld Hall is a co-ed facility that offers two living-learning communities for first-year honors and many scholarship students. It houses about 250 students.
