Open Enrollment: We’ve Got You Covered!
1.) Open Enrollment closes today at 5 p.m.
Go to the Open Enrollment website for information and to make your elections. Remember, the choices you make during open enrollment will remain in place through Dec. 31, 2016. You may make changes during the year if you experience a qualifying event. You must contact Human Resources and supply documentation within 30 days from date of event.
2.) Fright Light Halloween Party
Oct. 31, 1 to 4 p.m., Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium
$5/person
Spooktacular fun is had by all at our annual Fright Light Halloween Party. Kids activities and treats as well as our Fright Light Laser Music Show with songs like Monster Mash and Purple People Eaters make for fiendish family fun. Fright Light Laser Music Show plays at 1 PM, 2 PM and 3 PM. Admission includes activities and the show. No free admissions (including memberships), special offers, coupons or passes are allowed for this event.

3.) Green Tip: Break down boxes, crush containers before recycling
You should know that you can recycle any kind of plastic, glass, metal, paper & cardboard in UofL’s single-stream recycling bins. But did you know that recycling costs UofL more than landfill dumping? We recycle because it’s the right thing to do, but we pay for it by volume, not weight. You can help us save money while cutting the amount of diesel burned and pollution emitted to empty our recycling dumpsters by generating less waste and taking care to always break down boxes and crush containers.
