Eliminating waste and inefficiency not only reduces UofL’s environmental impact, but can help save us from a budget shortfall. Consider these eco-friendly ways to cut costs: Print on both sides of a page. Serve tap water instead of bottled water and replace disposables with reusable mugs, utensils, plates, etc. Reduce our huge utility bill by shutting off faucets, lights, computers, and equipment when not in use. Consolidate refrigerators. Buy only efficient, Energy Star electronics and appliances.
