    Lace up your dancing shoes for this fun way to get fit! Join Get Healthy Now and the Great Place to Work Campus Climate Committee for a fun hour of dancing with your UofL colleagues. Check out this short video, invite your colleagues and come kick off your weekend with some fun!

    2.) Green Tip: Want free local produce? Come help our garden grow!

    June 6, 4 to 6 p.m., Garden Commons, Cultural Center, Belknap

    Free

    Please join us as we plant, weed and harvest from the organic Garden Commons at the Cultural Center. After work today we’ll be installing several new plants, including perennial berry bushes, herbs and annual vegetables. No prior experience necessary. Tools and gloves provided. Dress to get dirty. The Garden Commons is open to participation throughout the year from students, staff, faculty and community members. Workers are welcome to fresh-picked strawberries, lettuce, peas, spinach, mint and herbs.

    4.) Enhanced TARC service connecting Belknap with downtown, airport and Kentucky Kingdom

    In addition to providing Belknap campus with direct service from 3rd Street and Eastern Parkway to downtown or the airport, TARC Route 2 is now your direct connection to summer fun. TARC is adding service to Kentucky Kingdom at stops near Gates 2 and 3 of the Kentucky Exposition Center. Service is also being increased on Route 2, with a new weekday evening trip, and new morning and evening schedules on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. This and all TARC services are free with valid UofL ID.

    5.) Submit Homecoming 2014 events by July 1

    Homecoming Week 2014 will be Oct. 13 to 18. Please submit all Homecoming-related events your office or area will be hosting to Caelin Smith no later than July 1 so they can be included in Louisville Alumni’s Homecoming 2014 schedule of events.
