    1.) Cards Under the Stars: Big Hero 6

    June 26, 6:30 p.m., on the lawn between the Natural Sciences Building and Grawemeyer Hall, movie begins at dusk

    Free admission

    Grab a blanket, lawn chairs and a cooler and bring the family for a screening of the film “Big Hero 6.” Let the kids enjoy our inflatable park, play games, “Big Hero 6” photo area and other activities. Bring a picnic or purchase concessions from Sweet ‘N’ Savory  and POLLO food trucks.  And don’t forget, Cards Under the Stars returns July 24 with the 2015 live-action film “Cinderella.”

    2.) Celebrate 50 years of Upward Bound at UofL

    University of Louisville Upward Bound alumni and former staff members are encouraged to come out to help celebration 50 years of service on the Belknap Campus. The cost of attendance will include dinner and entertainment.

Whovians can relax in the cool comfort of the planetarium while binge-watching the non-human, human-looking, non-Rx-writing doctor fight evil. July 11: Episodes 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 July 18: Episodes 3.4, 3.5 and 3.6 July 25: Episodes 3.7, 3.8 and 3.9 August 1: Episodes 3.10, 3.11, 3.12 and 3.13 Doors open at 6:45 p.m.

    6.) UofL Today publishing schedule for holiday week

    UoL Today will not be published on Friday, July 3. Announcements for the Monday, July 6 edition of UofL Today must be submitted by noon on Thursday, July 2.

    7.) Tegrity to move to cloud-based service

    This summer Tegrity, the university’s lecture-capture system, will be moved from the UofL data center to Tegrity’s cloud-based hosting service. Tegrity videos with a creation date of January 2013 and newer will be copied over to the new system. The move should be seamless to all users. To keep recordings created before January 2013, please download the directions below. The final move will occur during Tegrity’s regular maintenance window in July.

    8.) New F&A Rate Agreement set

    The University of Louisville/University of Louisville Research Foundation, Inc. recently received a new federally negotiated indirect cost Rate Agreement that is to be applied when submitting proposals to sponsoring agencies for awards anticipated to be effective as of July 1, 2015 or later. The new agreement increases the rate for on-campus organized research from 50% to 53% effective 7/1/2015 through 6/30/2016 and to 54% effective 7/1/2016 through 6/30/2018.

    Dr. Darryl Kaelin, chief, associate professor and residency director, division of physical medicine and rehabilitation, department of neurosurgery, will present Disorders of Consciousness: Diagnosis, Treatment and Outcomes at this week’s Grand Rounds. MDs and DOs will receive 1 CME credit for attendance, and RNs will receive 1.2 CEU credits. Continental breakfast will be served.
