2.) 19th Annual Red Barn Alumni (RBAA) Golf Scramble
June 21, 7 a.m., Crossings Golf Club, Brooks
$60
The RBAA has several openings for teams of four for the 19th Annual RBAA Golf Scramble at the Crossings Golf Club, 2015 Letts Road, Brooks, KY (502) 957-6523. Winning team will qualify to play in the Acura College Alumni Team Championship held at Pinehurst #2 and #4 October 5 to 8 (Pinehurst #2 is the home of the 2014 U.S. Open). Acura is also sponsoring a Hole-in-One Vehicle for a one-year lease. Cost is $60 per person, which includes 18 holes of champion golf, cart and BBQ lunch.

The Diabetes and Obesity Center will continue its seminar series with a special guest speaker, David Morris, PhD, assistant professor of medicine, Indiana University School of Medicine. His presentation will be titled, Tissue Macrophages: An Emerging Nexus Between Obesity, Inflammation and Type 2 Diabetes. Please join us, everyone is welcome!
