2.) Green Tip: Beat the construction woes

Now is the perfect time to free yourself of traffic and parking headaches by ditching the car! In fact, much construction at UofL is for improvements that will make it even easier and safer to walk or bike. At HSC, those crossing Preston Street have a safe new mid-block crossing at Abraham Flexner Way. Those headed south across the railroads on Belknap now have two safer options, with delineator posts along the new bike lanes on 4th Street and a brand new road with bike lanes and sidewalks connecting Brook and 3rd Street.

Additional Information: UofL sustainable transportation options; UofL bike master plan.
