    1.) Join the Picture Louisville Vintage Photo Scavenger Hunt

    Register by Aug. 8; Aug. 13, 11 a.m., beginning at the Cressman Center for Visual Arts, 100 E. Main St.

    UofL Photographic Archives and Yelp Louisville are teaming up to present the first Picture Louisville Vintage Photo Scavenger Hunt. Participants will be given 10 vintage photos taken in downtown Louisville. They’ll race to find where those spots are and snap a picture of the current location with the vintage photo proving they found it.

    2.) Belknap Campus parking changes delayed until spring semester

    Good news for blue and green parking permit holders: Anticipated changes to Belknap Campus lots near Speed School of Engineering have been put on hold until the spring semester. The Eastern Parkway entrance to the Speed School parking lots and the green permit lot on Third Street across from Reynolds Lofts will remain open through the fall semester. For more information on Belknap parking changes, go to the special projects website.

     

    3.) 2016-17 university parking permits now available

    All parking permits need to be replaced by Aug. 22. Parking permit are now on sale. Please visit www.louisville.edu/parking and click “Buy Permit.” Expanded Transportation Options designed to save you money and hassle while reducing traffic and pollution are available to UofL employees and students: Cardinal Directions is a brand new UofL trip-finder app to help you discover new ways to get around and to set up carpools (special permits available); Ride the TARC bus system free with UofL ID; CarShare and BikeShare programs now serve both HSC and Belknap campuses; Free Guaranteed Ride Home program; Earn-A-Bike Program: Use alternative transportation for the next two years and get $400

    4.) Submit your 2016 Homecoming events by Aug. 1

    Homecoming is set for Saturday, Oct. 22, and the Alumni Association wants to include your Homecoming Week event in our alumni mailer and/or on our website. In order for your event to be included, you must submit your event details by Monday, Aug. 1 online. All events must be submitted online.
