    The Commonwealth Center for the Humanities & Society Advisory Board has named six faculty members to serve as 2017-18 Faculty Fellows: Brendan Depue (Psychological & Brian Sciences); Christine Ehrick (History); Frances McDonald (English); Michael Brandon McCormack (Pan-African Studies); Karl Swinehart (Humanities); and Joseph Turner (English).

    Conflict of Interest Policy reminder: research and sponsored projects

    Adding new participants to sponsored projects? Remember their disclosure requirement. Any individual receiving any portion of their compensation through an externally funded project and any individual participating in research under the auspices of UofL, regardless of compensation, must complete their annual Attestation and Disclosure Form (ADF) requirement before added to projects. This includes current UofL students, faculty, and staff, and also visiting students and visiting scholars.

    Money Smart Week at the Ekstrom Library begins today

    Medicine Grand Rounds: Dr. Kathrin LaFaver

    January 26, 8 a.m., Ambulatory Care Building
    Medicine Grand Rounds features Kathrin LaFaver, MD, assistant professor of Neurology, the Raymond Lee Lebby Endowed Professor of Parkinson’s Disease Research, and director, Movement Disorder Clinic at UofL. LaFaver will present, “Hallucinations and Psychosis in Parkinson’s Disease” focusing on learning about the prevalence, risk factors and diagnosis of psychosis in Parkinson’s disease, and understanding current treatment recommendations for psychosis in Parkinson’s disease.
