Rite Aid Stores will no longer be in Health Plan network

Beginning on April 1, 2018, Rite Aid pharmacies in the Louisville area will no longer be in the network with our health plan for pharmacy coverage through Express Scripts. This change is due to the recent purchase of Rite Aid stores by Walgreens, who is not in the Express Script network at this time. If you currently use a Rite Aid pharmacy, you will need to transfer your prescriptions to a new pharmacy. Pharmacies in our network include Kroger, CVS, Target, Walmart and various independent pharmacies. Both CVS and Kroger have a 24-hour pharmacy in the Louisville area. The KY Rx Coalition will also be reaching out to affected employees about this change and can assist you with transferring to a new pharmacy. For any questions, contact the KY Rx Coalition at 1-855-218-5979, email, or email UofL Benefits.

    Sustainability

Partnership for a Green City Energy Tip 21 – Computers and energy

Half of all office, school or home computers are left on overnight and on weekends. Evenings and weekends account for 75 percent of the week, so turning off computers at night dramatically reduces their energy consumption. Tip for work, school and home – a high tech gaming computer uses three times the energy used to power your kitchen or breakroom refrigerator/freezer. All computer equipment should be turned off at the end of the day and on weekends, unless told differently by Tier I or IT Dept.
