    Please join the Delphi Center and Glen Garrett from iClicker for lunch and a session about iClicker/iClickerGo. iClicker is a tool that allows students to submit answers for in-class polling, and iClickerGo adds the convenience of using a smart phone or laptop as a substitute clicker. Lunch will be provided. Registration is required.

    4.) Celebrate the Partnership for a Green City 10th anniversary

    Dec. 10, 10:45 to 11:30 a.m., Nucleus Conference Room, 300 E. Main St.

    Join the Partnership to celebrate 10 years of sustainability leadership by example as well as a five-year review of progress on climate action recommendations. UofL, Jefferson County Public Schools, Louisville Metro Government and Jefferson Community & Technical College collaborate on sustainability initiatives and behavior change as we work to make our institutions greener and make Louisville a Green City.

    7.) DEHS Lab Safety & Hazardous Waste training with Radiation Safety Orientation

    Dec. 11, 9 a.m. to noon, Donald Baxter I, Auditorium

    Recently hired lab employees who work with chemicals should attend the Lab Safety/Hazardous Waste session, 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Recurrent training for lab employees is required every three years. Individuals who will work with or around radioactive materials should attend the Radiation Safety Orientation session, which is from 11:15 a.m. to noon. Bring employee/student ID number to sign in.

    8.) Bipolar depression study

    The UofL Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is conducting a study to test the use of an investigational medication, asenapine, to treat bipolar depression. Men and women 18 to 55 years old who have bipolar disorder and are currently depressed may be eligible for this study. Qualified participants will receive compensation for time and travel.
