    Incorporate this user-friendly tool into your course to start a two-way dialogue with students. Using iClicker, you can gather and display student responses in real time. Learn more about this free platform at a training session. Free instructor kits will be available upon request and lunch will be provided.

    2.) YMCA to let UofL employees work out for free during holiday break

    Between Dec. 23, 2015 and Jan. 3, 2016

    Free for UofL employees

    The YMCA of Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana invites all UofL employees to work out for free. To take advantage of this opportunity, all you need is a current UofL employee I.D. Should your spouse, immediate family member or out-of-town guest join you, there will be a $5 per person per day fee with picture I.D. Locate a YMCA near you. Should you wish to join the YMCA, the join fee will be waived from December 26 through January 20.

    3.) Supervisors: Performance Management training now available

    Multiple dates and locations. In response to feedback from the university community, Human Resources is partnering with the Delphi Center to conduct performance management training for all managers. Learn how to conduct effective performance reviews and set expectations for the year during this four-hour training. Sessions are available on HSC and Belknap.

We will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the RBAA (1985-2015), featured in the Fall 2015 UofL magazine (Donor Spotlight, page 51).     The Commission on Diversity and Racial Equality (CODRE) is pleased to share its annual report of activities during the 2014-2015 fiscal year.     7.) OFFICIAL UofL Alumni Pregame Party

    The UofL Alumni Association is thrilled to host the OFFICIAL UofL Alumni Pregame party for alumni, fans and friends before the Music City Bowl. This is the only OFFICIAL pregame event and will be at the Hard Rock Cafe Nashville from 2-5 p.m. CT.     8.) Cards Writing Cards initiative needs volunteers

    Alumni volunteers are invited to write congratulatory notes to newly admitted UofL students. We have over 1,800 students to write to and we need YOUR help to accomplish this goal! If you and your friends would like to participate, please fill out our volunteer form and we will mail you stationery, addresses, stamped envelopes, and a sample letter to guide your notes.

    This Friday, please join us for the 15th Annual Dr. Elliott Podoll Adolescent Medicine Lectureship featuring Matthew C. Aalsma, PhD. Aalsma is an associate professor of pediatrics and director of the juvenile forensic psychology clinic at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. He will be presenting “Juvenile Justice Reform.”

Our department Chair Dr. Sean Francis will be presenting, Vaginal Vault Prolapse After Laparoscopic Hysterectomy. He will be discussing epidemiology of prolapse, review risk factors for prolapse and POPQ examinations.
