Inscope Medical Solutions team members Maggie Galloway, Mary Nan Mallory, Adam Casson and Will Coburn won a $15,000 cash prize and a Launch in Louisville business startup package worth $100,000. All four are graduate students in the Forcht Center for Entrepreneurship at UofL’s College of Business.

Teams from 12 schools across the country competed in the UofL College of Business-sponsored business startup contest.

OneScope, an airway management device designed to intubate patients more safety than conventional laryngoscopes, can be used in ambulances, helicopters, emergency rooms, operating rooms and surgical centers, the Inscope team said.

Inscope will compete at the New Venture Championship at University of Oregon April 9-11 and the Global Venture Labs Investment Competition May 7-9 in Austin, Texas. The team also is applying to compete in the Rice Business Plan Competition at Rice University in Houston April 16-18.
