    1.) Entrepreneurship Academy for graduate students application deadline Friday

    The University of Louisville School of Interdisciplinary and Graduate Studies is offering the first Entrepreneurship Academy Fall 2014. This four session academy will introduce graduate students to the process of entrepreneurial thinking in an academic setting. Applications and more information will be available here.

    2.) Racing to Save Lives: Introducing The Aortic Center

    Sept. 5, 4 to 5:30 p.m., Churchill Downs Aristides Room, 700 Central Ave.

    Join us as CME & PD along with KentuckyOne Health presents a CME program to introduce the new Aortic Center at Jewish Hospital to referring clinicians. The program is designed to provide instruction for what “Code Aorta” is, how/when it is activated, and how abdominal aneurysms/dissections present with differential diagnoses.
