DID YOU KNOW?
The Kentucky Derby is filled with traditions, and one of them is the performance of “My Old Kentucky Home” by UofL’s Cardinal Marching Band as the horses walk from the paddock to the starting gate. This has been an annual performance for the band since 1980, but before that, the band played the song for Derby crowds from 1937 to 1954 and 1956 to 1969.

Cards All In
1.) Meet Ruthie Wooten and Ethan Tomlinson
We work hard every day to advance the mission and vision of the university – each of us contributing in our own way. Some go above and beyond their daily tasks and contribute back to UofL. While you can give to any area, many choose to support university scholarships. Cards All In is happy to spotlight scholarship recipients and show the importance of participating in giving. Today, meet graduating seniors Ruthie Wooten and Ethan Tomlinson.
