    Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30 to 7:00 a.m., Get Healthy Now Wellness Center at Humana Gym,  Studio A

    Free for employees, retirees and their spouses/QAs

Let this new class energize you in a way that nothing else can: a morning workout and renewed commitment to being your best! Laura Feese, certified aquatic instructor with 25-plus years of experience, leads a progressive water workout for GHN’s Water Fitness classes. Ideal for all fitness levels and no swimming skills needed (hair can stay dry or not). Benefits include increased energy, better sleep, relief from joint pain and more. Enroll today!

    Saddle up and ride for team UofL and be a part of something big. Showcase your support for a healthy lifestyle and sustainable transportation. Compete with your UofL colleagues to earn the coveted title of most active cyclists on campus! Your miles cycled will count toward the University of Louisville total, as well as qualify you for great individual prizes. Our grand prize: a $400 voucher to a local bike shop courtesy of Get Healthy Now and the Sustainability Council!

    4.) McConnell Center sponsoring Daniel Boone documentary to air on KET

    May  4, 9 p.m.

    A two-hour documentary exploring the life of legendary Daniel Boone will premiere May 4, 9 p.m., on KET. The McConnell Center is one of the film’s sponsors, produced by Witnessing History. “Daniel Boone and the American West” features extensive archival research, showcases original Boone documents and includes many live reenactments of Boone’s role in the American Revolutionary War and his early explorations of Kentucky, including battle scenes such as the famed Siege of Boonesborough.

    $100 per person; $400 for 4 person team
