Rauch Planetarium announces new season of family programming

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium at the University of Louisville kicks off a new season of family programs beginning September 13.

    The planetarium’s Cosmic Explorer Workshops introduce children age 4–6 to space exploration and discovery of the universe and natural world through hands-on and team-building activities. Workshops cost $20 for members, $25 for non members. All workshops are held on Sunday afternoons, from 2 p.m.– 4 p.m.

    Cindy Hess has more than 30 years of experience in communications, marketing and investor relations, including more than a decade at UofL. She is "sort of" retired but happy to come back to the Office of Communications and Marketing to help with special projects and assignments.
