    1.) UofL Today publishing schedule for winter break announced

    The UofL Today email is published Monday through Friday. Due to the upcoming university break, UofL Today will not be sent out Dec. 25 to Jan. 2.

    2.) The YMCA and Get Healthy Now give UofL employees the gift of fitness over the holiday break!

    Through Jan. 4, the YMCAs of Greater Louisville and So. Indiana invite all UofL employees to work out for FREE. To take advantage of this opportunity, all you need is a current UofL employee ID. Should your spouse, immediate family member or out-of-town guest join you, there will be a $5 per person per day fee with picture ID.     3.) Be your BEST Self; take advantage of the opportunity to work with a wellness coach intern

    Free to employees, spouses and QAs

    Take advantage of the chance to partner with a Get Healthy Now wellness coach intern who will help you work toward any health behavior change. You will meet with the coach one hour a week for eight weeks. Our interns have successfully completed a semester of intensive coach training and are closely supervised by a certified coach. It’s your chance to take the first step toward lasting change in your life.

    4.) Changes begin Jan. 5 for international travel requests

    Beginning Jan. 5, all faculty, staff and international group travel requests should be sent to fasit@louisville.edu. As per university policy, all international travel requires Provost approval.

    5.) Family and Friends Campus Visit Program scheduled for February

    Feb. 5, 10:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., SAC, Room 310

    Do you have a son or daughter who is a high school senior or junior? The Office of Admissions is hosting a campus visit reserved just for you and your student! Executive Director of Admissions Jenny Sawyer will host a 45-minute information session. Following the session will be a 90-minute student-guided walking tour of Belknap campus. Advance registration is required.

    6.) Visit Morocco to investigate women’s issues with the Women’s Center

    The Women’s Center is partnering with Theresa Hayden in justice administration to lead a trip to Morocco from May 18 to May 29 to investigate women’s issues such as human trafficking, health and fair trade. If you know of any students who might be interested in this unique opportunity, please direct them to the Women’s Center for additional Information. Open to undergraduate, graduate and professional students.
