UofL names new dean for College of Education and Human Development

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. –The University of Louisville today announced that Ann Larson will be the new dean for the College of Education and Human Development, effective July 1.

    She is currently a professor and vice dean for the college and is a 19-year employee of the university. Larson is an expert in teacher preparation and accountability and deeply experienced in forging community partnerships to improve K-12 education, professional development and adult learning.

    Cindy Hess has more than 30 years of experience in communications, marketing and investor relations, including more than a decade at UofL. She is "sort of" retired but happy to come back to the Office of Communications and Marketing to help with special projects and assignments.
