Elizabeth McCall (’07, ’09) has risen through the ranks of Brown-Forman to become one of the youngest female distillers in the country.

Nearly 10 years ago, McCall found herself uninspired with her chosen career path and was presented with the opportunity to work for Brown-Forman. There, she began her journey in the sensory department. While working her way up through the sensory department, McCall developed a palate that lent itself toward Woodford Reserve. She became familiar with the nuances of the trade and proved herself to be an eager learner.

Now, she works as the Assistant Master Distiller under Chris Morris, assisting in ensuring the quality and integrity of each batch of Woodford Reserve bourbon.
